Dear friends,

	This is just a reminder that CounterCorp, organizers of the annual  
Anti-Corporate Film Festival, are co-presenting the San Francisco  
theatrical premiere of the critically-acclaimed new documentary "The  
Yes Men Fix The World" on Friday (tomorrow), October 30, at the Roxie  
Theater on 16th Street (between Valencia and Guerrero) in the Mission.

	The film has played to enthusiastic audiences at the Sundance and  
South by Southwest Film Festivals (among others), and opened to big  
crowds and strong reviews -- including from the mainstream and  
business press -- in New York, Washington, and Boston. It opens in  
Chicago, L.A., and Portland, Ore., in the coming weeks.

	It is the second feature from anti-corporate activists Andy Bichlbaum  
and Mike Bonanno, who pose as executives of large corporations and  
international financial institutions to engage in elaborate publicity  
stunts intended to draw attention to the dangers and absurdities of  
the global economic system.

	In the process, the Yes Men reveal the insanity of a corporate-driven  
economy in which no idea is considered beyond the pale, as long as  
it's pitched as a way to make ever-higher profits.

	The film ends on a hopeful and upbeat note, however, and the Yes Men  
have warned theater managers only half-jokingly to make sure that the  
seats are bolted to the floor, because audiences have been leaving the  
screenings feeling angry, energized, and empowered to take action.

	And as an added bonus, one half of the deceptive duo -- co-writer/co- 
director/co-producer Andy Bichlbaum -- will be in attendance on  
opening night to speak about making the film, their most recent stunt  
against the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (and the resultant lawsuit), and  
answer audience questions.
